Total train wreck
Whistler, British Columbia
We had a really well balanced day today…
Got up and went for a walk on the snowmobile trail at the edge of the RV park
After breakfast and stretching, we went for a short hike to the train wreck site where several box cars were left and graffitied after getting derailed in the forest in the 1950s
On the way back, we found the longest black slug we’d ever seen
We spent the afternoon at the campground - Matt working on our blog and website and Liz sorting out the finances
We rode our bikes to the Brandywine falls and bungee bridge - it was a well maintained gravel two track with some easy-ish ups and downs; Oslo came along, running beside the bikes and enjoying a refreshing dip in a puddle and pond along the trail
We had leftover Greek bowls for dinner, continued working on the website (making up creative headliners for all of the previous days of our trip) and booked our AirB&B on the Lofoten Islands in August
