Wow, what a drive!
Kamloops, British Columbia > Whistler, British Columbia
We got up and finished our grocery shopping at Walmart, also returning our 8 umbrellas we picked up in Calgary in case it decided to rain on our wedding day
Continued what was expected to be a four-hour drive from Kamloops to Whistler, but it took an extra two hours because we traveled at 40 km/hr through the winding roads and 11-13% grades
The drive was very scenic as we passed by several lakes and river systems; the mountain peaks were not as tall as Alberta - they reminded us more of Montana / Wyoming
It became noticeably warmer (75 degrees), more humid and mosquitos were out (we’re missing the cool air of Alberta already)
We set up camp, checked out the campground, and Matt messed around with the black tank flush - he partially unclogged it
Made our famous chicken Greek bowls for dinner
