Schmoke and a pancake…minus the schmoke

Cody, WY (East Yellowstone National Park)

• Today was a chill day - we were planning to fish the Soda Butte Creek, Pebble Creek and / or Slough Creek, but the runoff blew out the rivers - chocolate milk

• We got an oil change and grocery shopped at Walmart 

• We splurged on pancakes and bacon for a late breakfast - we’re learning how to not eat an entire pound of bacon in one sitting

• It was raining on and off most of the day and snowing in the park

• We checked out the three local fly shops in downtown Cody, and bought a few flies

• Took Oslo to the dog park (finally opened after the maintenance closure); includes a lake 

• Oslo met his new best friend - Kenzie, a 13 month old dog that looked liked a wolf (sled dog breed…can’t remember the breed name)

• Campground: Absaroka Bay RV Park
