A Fitz Roy chilly night
Thursday, November 3rd: El Chalten, Argentina
We were thankful once the sun came up and warmed the air in our tent. We made breakfast and leisurely packed up to make the trek back to town. We were tired after a night of restless sleep and 11 miles on our feet the day before, but we made good time with the mostly flat and downhill path.
We rewarded ourselves with lunch out and drove ourselves the half mile from our AirB&B instead of walking. We ate at Ahonikenk Chalten Fonda Patagonia and had lamb ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce and milanesa topped with cheese, bacon and a fried egg. We indulged further in a warm brownie topped with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream.
