Packing the last few things

  • We woke up to the sounds and smells of mom making zucchini bread.

  • After breakfast we started checking items off of our to do list: wrote out 44 thank you notes, picked up a prescription from Rite Aid, dropped off my wedding dress at UPS for preservation, drove to Ann Arbor to get my wedding band fixed, etc. 

  • It was uncomfortably hot all day, even in the air conditioning, so we’re really looking forward to the crisp Norwegian air. 

  • Separately, we both snuck in power naps. 

  • We polished off the Taylor Chip Cookies. 

  • We had spaghetti dinner on the patio with mom and dad, finished packing and did our last load of laundry before bed.
