Wedding Week!

  • The wedding week has officially started

  • We were so busy this week that we didn’t keep up with our diary entries, so we’re writing them retroactively 

  • While both sets of parents were in transit, we got up early to pack up the camper 

  • We headed to Canmore and Liz got her eyebrows waxed and nails done at The Loft Beard & Beauty Lounge (Macka is from Chile and gave us recommendations for our future travel) 

  • We checked into the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge (disappointed that no room upgrades / suites were available) and spent time unpacking since our parents were a bit delayed out of Minneapolis 

  • We headed into Calgary and stopped at Michael’s for more cellophane and Walmart for 8 matching umbrellas in case it rained during the wedding 

  • We waited outside of customs at the YYC airport until our parents arrived, picked up the rental cars and made our way back to the resort 

  • We ate dinner together at Forte (it was a buffet night) 

  • Everyone turned in for the night immediately after
