Matt’s first day of school!
Tuesday, October 11th: Buenos Aires, Argentina
It was like sending Matt off for his first day of school… Spanish school that is! We packed up his snacks and notebook in his backpack and sent him on his way. He learned the Spanish alphabet, common greetings, numbers, months and days of the week.
Afterwards, we stopped at a local shop for empanadas (beef, chicken, caprese, vegetable and ham & cheese) and ate them on our way to Patagonia for down jackets. We anticipated favorable prices, but the retail market here is totally unintuitive. The same down jacket that costs $230 USD was priced more than double that in pesos! So we tried on a few things and ordered Liz a jacket online for Tim to bring with him nine days from now.
We worked out at Mr. Garage Gym, ate leftover steak for dinner and FaceTimed with Em and Oslo. He was very excited to show off his new glow in the dark ball.
