Ser or Estar
Wednesday, October 12th: Buenos Aires, Argentina
It was another day of embracing the city life – something we’re not exactly used to yet. Matt has his second day of Spanish class where he learned the infamously trick “ser” vs. “estar” after his class was split into two groups. He remained with the two young German guys and the girl from China.
After class, we went to Mr. Garage Gym for a workout and then stopped at the Dia grocery store for a few items, including alfajores and ham flavored potato chips. We then walked back to the outdoor shopping plaza for a hotdog that we were eyeing previously at Franky Gourmet Hotdogs. After the first bite, we were reminded of how much more we like sausages from other countries – the meat seems like its double or triple ground and densely packed, creating a softer texture.
