Swept off her feet

  • Got up and ate breakfast on the beach

  • Adam paddled in via canoe from Coldwater (1-1.5 hours) 

  • Fished the morning - caught several above the second bridge; Liz went to net Matt’s gosh right in front of the bridge and her feet got swept underneath her and she fell halfway in 

  • Beached two in a double header downstream 

  • Oslo liked to wade by himself in the river in search of fish and sit on the edge of the campsite to look out over the lake 

  • Packed up and hiked out (Matt falsely estimating the difficulty level and length of the hike) 

  • Lake Superior Provincial Park opened a week late, so no water or sewer at Rabbit Blanket, so we stayed in Wawa instead 

  • Stopped at Circle K and got ramen :) 

  • Felt good to sleep in the camper!
