SPAAAAAAAH
Kananaskis Country, AB
Finally had a chance to sleep in a bit and had a late breakfast (finally tried something off the menu instead of the buffet)
Went to Canmore to walk around downtown with Diane and Rick
Shared small plates at Where the Buffalo Roam Saloon (Oslo joined us on the patio) - food was fantastic, probably the best we’ve had so far
Matt purchased his first pair of bike shorts to make the ride a bit more comfortable on the butt cheeks
Oslo acted very out of character; we let two little kids visit with him, he licked their little hands and seemed to be enjoying their company and attention, but when the little girl circled to his side, he barked aggressively at her
Mom and dad left and headed to Calgary to check into the hotel for the night
We went back to start our spa day - the grounds were beautiful; we went through the hydrotherapy circuit - warm pools, hot pools, saunas, steam rooms, cold pools; we took naps in the hammocks and then enjoyed a charcuterie plate and pumpkin spice pudding at the bistro
We spent over four hours at the spa and we’re tempted to “borrow” the robe
We ordered room service - margarita pizza and pesto pasta and watched The Lost City (Matt watched it and Liz dozed in and out)
